Breakfast on Pluto (2005)
Patrick Brady è nato dalla relazione clandestina tra un prete cattolico e la sua governante. Abbandonato dalla madre, fuggita a Londra, e affidato dal padre alla tabaccaia del paese, Patrick rivela sin da ragazzino una sensibilità spiccatamente femminile che si traduce in gesti appariscenti, in travestimenti e maquillage vivacissimi. Rinnegato dai genitori naturali e dalla madre adottiva, il ragazzo cresce con un gruppo di amici nell'Irlanda degli anni '70, occupata dagli inglesi e rivendicata dall'IRA. In seguito alla morte violenta di un amico, Patrick mutua il nome in Kitten e parte alla volta di Londra per conoscere sua madre. Alla fine del viaggio troverà invece un padre e una precisa quanto stravagante identità.
