Ragione e sentimento (2026)
La storia segue le vicende delle sorelle Elinor e Marianne Dashwood che, insieme alla madre e alla sorella minore Margaret, si ritrovano improvvisamente in ristrettezze economiche dopo la morte del padre, la cui eredità passa interamente al fratellastro John a causa delle leggi dell’epoca. Sfrattate dalla loro casa di famiglia nel Sussex, le donne Dashwood si trasferiscono in un modesto cottage nel Devonshire. Qui le due sorelle maggiori, profondamente diverse per temperamento – Elinor è guidata dalla prudenza e dal controllo delle emozioni (sense, la ragione), Marianne dall’impulso e dalla passione romantica (sensibility, il sentimento) –, dovranno navigare tra le rigide convenzioni sociali e i dolori dei loro rispettivi e tormentati primi amori, incarnati dalle figure di Edward Ferrars, John Willoughby e del colonnello Brandon.
