A 30 milioni di km dalla Terra (1957)
Di ritorno dal pianeta Venere un'astronave USA sprofonda nel mar di Sicilia. Si salvano il col. Calder e un rettile venusiano di aspetto antropomorfo che, trasferito nello zoo di Roma, per effetto dell'atmosfera terrestre assume proporzioni gigantesche ed evade. Affrontato un elefante dello zoo e ridotto in rovina mezza Roma, è abbattuto a cannonate sulla sommità del Colosseo.
