The Congress (2013)
Robin Wright vive in un hangar con due figli, il suo agente le procura un colloquio con uno degli studi hollywoodiani più importanti, la Miramount, le viene offerto di diventare la pioniera di un nuovo modo di recitare: cedere tutti i diritti sulla digitalizzazione della propria persona, così che lo studio crei una copia virtuale di lei da utilizzare in tutti i film che vuole, mentre la vera Robin Wright non dovrà recitare mai più. L'attrice, stimolata dalla brutta piega della sua carriera, accetta. Vent'anni dopo il mondo è cambiato e quella piccola innovazione è diventata la regola, gli esseri umani si drogano per vedere la realtà diversamente, come fosse un film d'animazione, assumendo l'aspetto che vogliono. Robin Wright è diventata l'attrice più sfruttata dalla Miramount ma al congresso per il futuro viene fatto un annuncio sconvolgente che scatena una rivolta.
