SACRO CUORE è un film francese di Steven e Sabrina Gunnell che celebra il 350° anniversario delle apparizioni del Cuore di Gesù a Santa Margherita Maria Alacoque (1673-1675) a Paray-le-Monial, in Borgogna. Il film intreccia ricostruzioni storiche, testimonianze dirette e riflessioni teologiche offrendo uno sguardo intimo su come il Sacro Cuore sia diventato un simbolo di amore misericordioso per milioni di fedeli. Queste voci diversificate mostrano come la devozione al Sacro Cuore tocchi ogni strato sociale, incontrando persone anche molto lontane dalla Chiesa. Il film ha superato ogni aspettativa al box office d’oltralpe, con più di 400mila spettatori.
