Da sempre le cattedrali gotiche nascondono - con figure ed iscrizioni alchemiche - i terribili segreti che hanno accompagnato il percorso dell'uomo nella lotta alle potenze degli inferi. È sarà proprio un geroglifico staccatosi con un frammento di pluviale dalla torre campanaria, in una notte buia e tempestosa, a scatenare un malefico esorcismo per tutti coloro che ne vengono in contatto. Per secoli assopita, le forze del male ritorneranno tra i vivi per seminare... la morte!
