Maladies (2012)
James (James Franco), un talentuoso attore di successo, ha lasciato la carriera in giovane età per ritirarsi in pensione a causa di uno squilibrio mentale che lo priva della lucidità. Ritiratosi a vivere in una casa in una piccola località balneare, condivide i suoi spazi con la sorella Patricia (Fallon Goodson), con cui i rapporti sono sempre in bilico a causa di vecchie tensioni che con il tempo si sono aggravate, e con l'amica Catherine (Catherine Keener), la sua migliore amica in lotta con la propria identità sessuale.
