Alla ricerca di Vivian Maier (2014)
Il fortunato acquisto di una scatola piena di negativi da parte del regista John Maloof ha segnato l’inizio della scoperta di una delle fotografe più importanti e di certo la più misteriosa del XX secolo: Vivian Maier (1 febbraio 1926/21 aprile 2009), di professione tata per le famiglie dell’alta borghesia di Chicago, ha scattato in segreto oltre 100mila fotografie, ritrovate dopo decenni, solo dopo la morte dell’autrice, salutata oggi come una delle più grandi “fotografe di strada” d’America. La vita e l’arte di Vivian Maier rivelate attraverso foto, filmati e interviste inedite alle persone che la conoscevano.
