Dunkerque (1958)
Un caporale britannico in Francia si ritrova responsabile della vita dei suoi uomini quando il loro ufficiale viene ucciso. In qualche modo deve riportarli in Gran Bretagna. Nel frattempo, i civili britannici vengono trascinati in guerra con l'Operazione Dynamo, il piano per riportare le forze francesi e britanniche dalle spiagge di Dunkerque. Alcuni si fanno avanti per aiutare, altri sono meno disponibili.
