Viso pallido (1948)
Dopo aver perso molti agenti nel tentativo di sventare un traffico d'armi con gli indiani, le autorità decidono di chiedere aiuto a Calamity Jane (Jane Russell), facendola evadere dal carcere dove sta scontando una pena di dieci anni e trasformandola in agente segreto. In cambio della sua collaborazione, le viene offerta la grazia e la completa riabilitazione. L'agente col quale deve mettersi in contatto ed inscenare un finto matrimonio viene ucciso e Jane decide di sostituirlo con un dentista incapace e fifone (Bob Hope) che capita per caso sulla sua strada.
