Alexandre, un uomo felice (1968)
Angariato da una moglie autoritaria e inflessibile che lo obbliga a lavorare come una bestia nei campi, Alexandre, si sente finalmente libero quando la dolce metà perisce in un incidente automobilistico. E decide di passare il resto della vita a letto, nell'assoluta inoperosità. Adesso chi gli procura il cibo ) Gaspare, un cane di intelligenza superiore , che ogni giorno fa la spola tra il negozio di alimentari e il giaciglio del padrone. In questo modo, però, i campi vanno in rovina suscitando la rabbia di Stanghetta, gran lavoratore.
