Il secondo arrivo (1998)
Zane Zaminski, il protagonista del primo Arrival, non ce l'ha fatta. Prima di cadere sotto i colpi degli alieni, però, è riuscito a inviare una serie di plichi a due ex colleghi, al suo professore di astrofisica, ad alcuni giornalisti, ed al fratellastro Jack Addison, programmatore, che vive a Montreal, in Canada. I messaggi contengono tutti i dettagli del micidiale piano che gli extraterrestri stanno mettendo in atto per far innalzare la temperatura della superficie terrestre in modo da renderla confacente alle loro caratteristiche fisiche. Quando il risultato sarà raggiunto, avrà inizio l'invasione. Jack continuerà la battaglia iniziata dal fratello, lottando per sfuggire ai pericolosi alieni che tentano di eliminarlo per impedirgli di avvertire le autorità.
