La mia vita senza me (2003)
Ann vive una vita misera, opaca e senza speranza, con una famiglia disastrata. Tutto cambia dopo un controllo medico che la spinge a riscoprire il piacere di vivere. La morte come spinta alla vita. È una provocazione che Pedro Almodovar (qui nelle vesti di produttore) non poteva lasciar cadere. Ecco allora che la protagonista di questo intelligente film al femminile trova una ragione di vivere proprio negli esiti infausti di alcuni esami. Deve preparare la sua dipartita lasciando ai suoi cari il meglio. Tema melo di quelli che piacciono a Pedro: Sempre però con la realtà sotto stretto controllo
