Vampire Academy (2014)
Rose Hathaway è una diciassettenne Dampira, metà vampiro metà umana, che ha il compito di proteggere Lissa Dragomir una ragazza Moroi, ovvero appartenente alla stirpe reale dei vampiri. Dopo un tentativo di fuga, Rose e Lissa vengono catturate e costrette a ritornare all'Accademia dalla quale erano fuggite per imparare a difendersi dagli Strigoi, vampiri immortali e assetati di sangue che minacciano Lissa. Qui Rose intreccia una relazione proibita con il suo affascinante e misterioso istruttore Dimitri Belikov.
