La rosa bianca - Sophie Scholl (2005)
Il 17 febbraio del 1943, quando il governo tedesco dichiarò caduta e perduta Stalingrado, un gruppo di studenti dell'università di Monaco si convinse che la fine della guerra fosse ormai prossima. Otto mesi di bombardamenti continuati e le numerose perdite di soldati sul fronte orientale accrebbero l'ottimismo e l'euforia del movimento di resistenza studentesco de La Rosa Bianca. I tempi e il popolo tedesco erano maturi per il loro sesto volantino rivoluzionario. Furono i fratelli Scholl, Hans e Sophie, a offrirsi volontari e a immolarsi, ignari, per la causa. Quella mattina di febbraio centinaia di volantini di denuncia contro i crimini nazisti vennero disseminati lungo i corridoi degli atenei. Un gesto azzardato che divenne il loro punto di non ritorno: sorpresi da un sorvegliante, furono interrogati dalla Gestapo, processati dalla Corte Popolare di Giustizia e condannati alla ghigliottina in soli cinque giorni.
