Settembre (1987)
Un gruppo di persone, legate da vincoli di parentela o di amicizia, trascorre alcuni giorni di vacanza in una villa del Vermont. La proprietaria, Lane, è innamoratissima di Peter, il quale è innamorato di Stephanie, amica di Lane, che è amata in silenzio da Howard. Nel giro di ventiquattr’ore emergerà tutto il viluppo di affetti, rancori e passioni, compresi anche i traumi di un passato drammatico.
