La promessa dell'assassino (2007)
Il misterioso e ruvido Nikolai è legato ad una delle più note famiglie criminali di Londra. Nikolai gestisce la sua vita in maniera attenta e metodica; tutto questo viene però sconvolto quando sulla strada di Nikolai appare Anna, un'ostetrica che vuole indagare sulla mistero che circonda una sua paziente, una prostituta morta durante il parto. Nel corso delle sue ricerche Anna scopre accidentalmente delle prove compromettenti per la famiglia cui Nikolai è legato. L’incontro con Anna scatenerà una serie di delitti, menzogne e ricompense, con Nikolai a fare da perno a tutti gli avvenimenti.
