La dottoressa Sheila Carlin è una buona amica di Della che chiama Perry quando viene tormentata da qualcuno. Partendo dalla teoria che potrebbe essere qualcuno con cui lavora in una stazione radio, fa in modo che Perry venga intervistato da Winslow Keene, che è anche il proprietario della stazione. Winslow fa infuriare il resto dei conduttori di talk show sulla stazione informandoli delle modifiche che sta apportando alle loro fasce orarie. Quella notte, Winslow viene colpito da un sicario assunto da qualcuno alla stazione e Sheila viene incastrata per l'omicidio. Chiama Perry e come al solito Perry, Della e Ken entrano in azione per scoprire chi è stato veramente.
