Dillon è un abilissimo sicario che lavora da anni in una squadra speciale della CIA. Infallibile macchina per uccidere, ha condotto molte missioni per conto del governo americano, finché, di ritorno da una difficile operazione in Medio Oriente, decide di ritirasi per sempre dall'attività e cambiare vita. Ma i suoi piani devono essere rimandati a causa del suo collega e migliore amico, che gli affida una nuova complicata missione contro un pericoloso terrorista. Ben presto, Dillon scoprirà di essere a sua volta bersaglio di qualcuno che lo vuole morto.
