L'attacco delle sanguisughe giganti (1959)
Indagando sulla misteriosa scomparsa di un cacciatore di frodo nelle Everglades, la guardia forestale Steve Benton si addentra in una regione inesplorata della palude nella quale è cresciuta un'orda di fameliche, gigantesche sanguisughe. I mostri sono responsabili della sparizione di numerose persone che hanno ammassato nel loro nido per farne scorta di cibo. Le forze armate, sollecitate da Benton, "bonificano" la zona a colpi di dinamite dopo avere scoperto che le bestie sono il prodotto di una mutazione genetica causata da una pioggia di radiazioni.
