Per te ho ucciso (1948)
Ricercato per aver ucciso un uomo durante una rissa in un pub, l'ex marinaio Bill Saunders trova rifugio nell'appartamento di Jane Wharton, una giovane infermiera che cerca di offrirgli un aiuto umano e medico. Ma il boss malavitoso Harry Carter, che è stato testimone dell'omicidio, è ben deciso a sfruttare le potenzialità di Bill per i suoi traffici.
