Conquistata Bagdad è ora il momento di trovare quelle armi di distruzione di massa che hanno scatenato il conflitto. L'ufficiale Roy Miller è a capo di una delle molte squadre che ogni giorno si recano nei siti indicati dalla CIA come probabile nascondiglio delle famigerate armi senza trovare nulla, ma diversamente da altri desidera saperne di più. Entrato in possesso grazie alla soffiata di un contatto locale di un libretto che indicherebbe i luoghi dove si nasconde il Generale Al Rawi (il Jack di Fiori secondo il mazzo di carte fornito dal governo e probabilmente l'unico uomo a conoscere la verità sulle armi di distruzione di massa) ma obbligato a non procedere dai suoi superiori, decide di trovarlo da solo e salvarlo dai suoi colleghi che, invece che interrogarlo, vogliono ucciderlo.
