Il presidente degli Stati Uniti d’America (Samuel L. Jackson) è vittima di un complotto. Durante una traversata transoceanica l’Air Force One subisce una minaccia di attacco e il presidente è costretto ad abbandonare l’aereo con una capsula di salvataggio. Atterra nella foresta finlandese, ma non è al sicuro. E’ braccato da spietati terroristi che hanno intenzione di rapirlo con l’aiuto di alcuni agenti dei servizi segreti corrotti. L’uomo più potente del mondo troverà un inaspettato alleato in Oskari, un ragazzino finlandese di 13 anni armato soltanto di arco e frecce che sarà la sua più valorosa guardia del corpo.
