Amleto (1948)
Il re di Danimarca è stato ucciso dal fratello, che ne ha preso il posto sul trono e nel cuore della regina. Ma lo spettro del padre appare ad Amleto per spingerlo alla vendetta. Il principe, per compiere la sua tragica missione, rinuncia all'amore di Ofelia (che si ucciderà), si finge pazzo, sopravvive a una congiura organizzata dal re e muore anch'egli.
