Manglehorn (2015)
Mangelhorn è un fabbricante di chiavi. La parete alle spalle del suo bancone è tappezzata di fila ordinate di tante piccole chiavi. Poi c'è un'altra parete, nella sua casa, tappezzata dalle lettere d'amore che ha scritto e continua a scrivere a Clara, da anni e anni, e che sono tornate al mittente. Clara è un amore perduto, come perduto, ormai, è il momento che Mangelhorn e lei hanno trascorso insieme, cioè la gioventù. Ma l'uomo è bloccato nel rimpianto di entrambe, al punto da essersi fatto una corazza impermeabile al resto delle persone, ad un possibile nuovo amore, al procedere della vita in generale.
