Pretty Baby (1978)
1917, gli ultimi mesi in cui la prostituzione è legale nel quartiere a luci rosse di New Orleans. Hattie lavora nell'elegante bordello di Madame Nell, e ha con sé la figlia dodicenne, Violet. Quest'ultima sarà affascinata dal fotografo Ernest J. Bellocq quando questi farà una serie di fotografie a sua madre. Intanto Nell mette all'asta la verginità della ragazzina, che Hattie, sposandosi e trasferendosi fuori città, abbandona.
