Un giovane e due amici si mettono alla ricerca di un assicuratore che ha fatto sparire una polizza sulla vita del nonno del giovane. Lo trovano e lo sottopongono a ogni sorta di burle, non risparmiando nemmeno gli strambi familiari dell'uomo (moglie alcolizzata, figlio cretino, figlia superdepressa).
