In the Basement (2014)
Im Keller segna il ritorno al genere documentario di Ulrich Seidl. Il film cerca di fornire una rappresentazione del particolare rapporto che c’è tra gli austriaci e i loro seminterrati e di definire le specificità di questi luoghi. I seminterrati sono i luoghi in cui gli austriaci, soprattutto uomini, passano il tempo libero. Im Keller punta una luce su questi luoghi sotterranei che normalmente sono nascosti e, se da un lato fornisce delle risposte, dall’altro pone nuove domande al pubblico.
