Pay the Ghost (2015)
A un anno dalla tragica scomparsa del figlio, avvenuta misteriosamente durante una parata di Halloween a New York, Mike Lawford (Nicolas Cage) comincia a essere ossessionato da terrificanti visioni del figlio e a sentire intorno a lui l’inspiegabile e spaventosa presenza di una misteriosa figura. Deciso ad entrare in azione, Mike si riavvicina alla moglie Kristen (Sarah Wayne Callies) per indagare sulla scomparsa del figlio. I due insieme si mettono alla disperata ricerca del figlio e riescono a scoprire una serie di terrificanti indizi riguardo alla sua scomparsa. In breve scoprono cosa accade ogni anno durante la notte di Halloween: un fantasma feroce e vendicativo appare durante la festa per rapire i bambini. Se Mike e Kristen non riusciranno a salvare il loro figlio prima dello scoccare della mezzanotte, allora il suo spirito andrà perso per sempre.
