Crossing the bridge - The sound of Istanbul (2005)
La storia è quella del compositore Alexander Hacke, esponente dell’avanguardia musicale tedesca, che ripercorre il viaggio che fece in Turchia per scrivere la colonna sonora della Sposa turca. Le emozioni, i rumori, i colori di una metropoli che segna non il confine ma l’incontro di Oriente e Occidente, e soprattutto le sue melodie perché, recita Confucio, “quando arrivi in un luogo e vuoi comprenderlo, ascolta la musica che vi si suona”.
