Jeff Lynne's ELO at Hyde Park (2014)
In una soleggiata giornata di settembre del 2014, Jeff Lynne, capo della band di successo degli anni '70 ELO, è salito sul palco di Hyde Park a Londra e, con l'aiuto della sua band di supporto e degli archi della BBC Concert Orchestra, ha portato a termine il festival annuale Live in Hyde Park di Radio 2. Dopo un'assenza dal palco dal vivo per 28 anni, questo headliner degli ELO di Jeff Lynne è stato un evento molto atteso e chiacchierato. Di fronte a 50.000 persone, Jeff Lynne ha presentato una serie travolgente e gradita al pubblico dei successi in cima alle classifiche dell'Electric Light Orchestra, tra cui Livin' Thing, Sweet Talkin' Woman, Don't Bring Me Down, Mr Blue Sky e Roll Over Beethoven. E c'è stato anche il toccante tributo di Jeff ai suoi compagni di band dei Traveling Wilburys, nella sua esibizione del loro successo del 1988 Handle With Care.
