Masters of Horror: La terribile storia di Haeckel (2006)
Un uomo la cui moglie è morta da poco e all'improvviso si rivolge a una negromante affinché gli consenta di incontrarla di nuovo. La donna inizialmente recalcitra ma infine decide di raccontargli la storia di un certo Haeckel. Costui era un uomo di scienze convinto di poter richiamare in vita i morti. Colto da dubbi apprenderà nuove e orribili cose nel corso del viaggio che compirà per raggiungere il padre morente nel momento in cui verrà ospitato da una coppia molto particolare.
