Holly, una ragazzina inquieta, trova in Kit, giovane spiantato e manesco, quell'affetto che le manca in famiglia. Quando il padre di Holly (la madre è morta) si oppone alla loro relazione in modo piuttosto energico, Kit lo uccide. I due giovani poi fuggono insieme nel tentativo di espatriare.
