King Kong 2 (1986)
Dieci anni dopo essere stato abbattuto sulle torri del World Trade Center, King Kong è ancora vivo, o meglio, sopravvive in stato comatoso grazie alle cure intensive cui lo sottopone la dottoressa Amy Franklin in un ospedale della Georgia. Per amore della scienza o per simpatia verso la sfortunata creatura, la dottoressa progetta di rianimarla e rimetterla poi in libertà, ma affinché il progetto si realizzi occorre trapiantarle un cuore artificiale e sostenerla con una trasfusione di sangue di gruppo compatibile. Quando le speranze sembrano ridursi a zero, la dottoressa Franklin ha notizia del ritrovamento di una femmina Kong nelle foreste del Borneo: il gigantesco animale viene prontamente catturato e trasferito ad Atlanta per consentire ai chirurghi la delicatissima operazione...
