Dopo essere stato esaurito da Las Vegas, Kolchak si dirige verso Seattle e un altro lavoro di reportage con il giornale locale. Non passa molto tempo prima che sia sulle tracce di un'altra serie di strani omicidi. Sembra che ogni 21 anni, nell'ultimo secolo, un killer uccida un certo numero di persone, le prosciughi il sangue e poi scompaia nella notte. Kolchak è sulle sue tracce, ma può fermarlo?
