Contessa italiana, energica donna d'affari, raccoglie uno sconosciuto sulla strada, lo porta nella sua magnifica villa, lo nutre, lo veste, ne diviene l'amante. Lui la lascia fare, dolorosamente passivo. Sul lago in motoscafo lei lo butta in acqua lasciandolo annegare. Nella magnifica villa si presenta un uomo eguale a lui, ma di opposto carattere. Diventa l'amante della padrona, prende in mano la direzione della casa e degli affari. Lei, dolorosamente passiva, lo lascia fare. Un giorno in motoscafo la butta in mare, ma la salva.
