Alla morte del professor Lippzigger, un college americano si trasforma in una specie di teatro di battaglia tra insegnanti e studenti, tutti interessati ad impadronirsi - per motivi opposti - dei segreti della sua scienza. Mark, discepolo preferito dello scienziato scomparso, scopre che questi aveva continuato gli esperimenti del celebre barone Frankenstein nella tranquillità di un laboratorio nascosto nei sotterranei dell'istituto.
