Fuga nel tempo (1948)
Durante la guerra Sir Roland Denn, un generale in pensione, vive di ricordi in una vecchia casa di Londra. Arriva la nipote Grigg a turbare la sua tranquillità. Roland rivà con il pensiero a un amore lontano e contrastato per una donna che ha sposato un altro. Grigg si unisce a un giovane ufficiale e Roland muore sotto i bombardamenti.
