Pocahontas (1995)
A Londra, John Smith cade in un'imboscata da parte di un gruppo di soldati con un mandato di arresto e si presume morto nello scontro che ne segue; Il governatore Ratcliffe ha mentito a King James (essendo un amico personale del re) e ha incastrato Smith come il traditore del primo film in un complotto per dichiarare guerra alla nazione Powhatan e impossessarsi dell'oro che crede ancora che posseggano, tutto evitando la punizione per i propri crimini. Per evitare ciò, il re invia un giovane diplomatico, John Rolfe, a portare il capo Powhatan in Inghilterra per i negoziati.
