Godzilla, Mothra e King Ghidorah - Assalto di mostri giganti (2001)

Godzilla incombe sul Giappone e nessun'arma può fermarlo. Intanto una giovane giornalista viene a sapere da un vecchio dell'imminente resurrezione dei tre mostri guardiani che proteggeranno l'umanità dal male. Quando Godzilla sbarca viene in principio aggredito da Baragon, che viene però sconfitto dal rettile gigante. In seguito dovrà vedersela con Mothra che verrà comunque battuta. È il turno di Ghidorah, l'unico che sembra poter eliminare Godzilla, che grazie al potere degli spiriti dei suoi due compagni morti riesce ad avere ragione di lui, anche se dopo un durissimo combattimento Godzilla riesce a sconfiggerlo. Però un anziano comandante di marina vuole ucciderlo per vendicarsi della morte dei suoi genitori provocata dal mostro durante il raid avvenuto nel '54...
