La guerra dei fiori rossi (2006)
Qiang è un bambino di 4 anni che, nella Cina Popolare del 1949, viene portato in uno dei migliori istituti pechinesi, dai genitori troppo impegnati nel lavoro. Qiang deve confrontarsi con la vita della collettività, regolata in modo per lui troppo rigido dalle educatrici. Dalla fase del pianto sconsolato passa ben presto a quella della disobbedienza attiva, supportato in questo da una coetanea. Quando riuscirà a convincere tutti i compagni che la loro insegnante non è altri che un mostro sotto le sembianze di una donna, la situazione si complica.
