Inghilterra, 1174. Re Riccardo si trova in Terra Santa per combattere come crociato mentre il trono è nelle mani di suo fratello, il principe Giovanni. Al fine di cementare i rapporti internazionali con l'Austria, Lady Marian (Erica Duance) è costretta a un matrimonio di convenienza ma occorre mettere fuori gioco Robin Hood (Robin Dunne). Quando lo sceriffo di Nottingham (Julian Sands) ha la brillante idea di scatenargli contro l'ira di una ragazza trasformata in drago, Robin Hood sarà costretto a sconfiggere il mostro alato e a salvare le campagne inglesi.
