Mandingo (1975)
A Falconhurst, in una piantagione di proprietà del vedovo Warren Maxwell e di suo figlio Hammond, uno schiavo nero di stirpe "Mandingo" chiamato Ganymede, detto Mede, viene addestrato a combattere con altri schiavi per partecipare a spettacoli di lotta destinati a bianchi benestanti. Hammond trascura la moglie bianca Blanche, che lui respinse durante la sua prima notte di nozze quando scoprì che non era più vergine, per dedicarsi alla schiava di colore Ellen. Da parte sua, Blanche seduce Mede. I conflitti e le emozioni che nascono da questi avvenimenti condurranno a delle tragiche conclusioni...
