L'assassino sul tetto (1957)
Paul Baxter è un giornalista alcolizzato e fallito: a credere in lui è rimasta solo la fidanzata Penny, che un giorno gli rivela che un pericoloso bandito sta per essere arrestato, e che la notizia ancora segreta sarebbe un grosso colpo giornalistico. Paul smette di bere, assiste all'uccisione del bandito da parte della polizia, ma poi scopre che il morto era un altro e cattura personalmente il bandito.
