Quando una pioggia di meteoriti colpisce Los Angeles, Jonas e Lars, due amici annoiati dalla vita, decidono di recuperare una meteora per diventare ricchi. Dopo averne trovata una, iniziano ad essere inseguiti da preistorici rettili volanti che hanno preso d'assalto la città .
