Affascinante storia del primo assaggio della vita della "grande città" da parte dell'alpinista-trapper Murphy con la giovane e dolce Sandra Dee al seguito. La ragazza fugge dalla sua famiglia, che ha tentato di scambiarla con alcune pelli di castoro di Murphy, e si aggrega al riluttante Murphy. I due si cacciano in tutti i guai della città e Murphy deve sparare allo sceriffo per salvare Dee dal suo lavoro di ballerina.
