Legge criminale (1989)
Un giovane avvocato in carriere difende con successo un uomo accusato di omicidio, solo che lo stesso tipo di omicidio poi accade di nuovo. Subito l'uomo precedentemente difeso viene accusato dal procuratore di nuovo, e anche se l'avvocato è abbastanza sicuro che lui è l'assassino, egli accetta nuovamente di difenderlo... nonostante la costernazione dei suoi amici. Tuttavia, egli spiega che essendo il suo avvocato sarà meglio in grado di catturare l'uomo in un errore... e su questo il resto del film si sviluppa, con l'assassino che gioca una partita di gatto e topo con l'avvocato fino a quando, finalmente, entrambi devono riconoscere che non sono tutti così diversi.
