Controcorrente (2009)
Per gettarsi definitivamente alle spalle un passato ancora irrisolto e legato alla morte della moglie incinta avvenuta cinque anni prima, lo scrittore Paul Thompson (Joseph Fiennes) propone all'amico Jeff di realizzare il loro sogno d'infanzia: attraversare a nuoto e controcorrente le acque del fiume Hudson, dalla foce alla sorgente. A Jeff, che deve seguirlo da sopra una barca mentre lui prova a portare a casa l'impresa, si aggrega anche l'amica Liz e i due capiranno presto che quella traversata rappresenta il mezzo per ridare fiducia a un uomo che si è fatto carico di troppe responsabilità.
