Davide e Betsabea (1951)
Davide, re d'Israele, quando scopre che Betsabea, moglie del suo generale Uria, aspetta un bambino fa in modo che il marito della donna muoia in battaglia. Giunta a Gerusalemme la notizia della morte del luogotenente, Davide sposa Betsabea, ma Dio lo punisce con una lunga siccità. Soltanto umiliandosi davanti all'Arca il re riceve infine il perdono divino.
