Cinque anni dopo aver mandato in prigione un uomo per l'omicidio di suo padre e del suo fidanzato, Diana torna a casa e scopre che lui è scappato di prigione ed è venuto ad affrontarla. L'uomo però non è venuto per vendicarsi, ma vuole piuttosto farle capire che ha messo dentro un uomo innocente. Prigioniera in casa sua, Diana resiste: sa a cosa ha assistito la notte dell'omicidio. Ma col passare del tempo, Diana inizia a mettere in discussione ciò che ha visto quella notte e la sua stessa testimonianza.
